There was a program on TLC a few months back about Richmond VA's Tacky Christmas Lights. These people go all out every year. The one house that wins year after year (I don't know the criteria for winning) spends an average of $800 extra per month on the electricity alone!!!!

Great post! The winner comes from my website, Tacky Light Tour. Users cast votes and rate each house on the tour and based on their voting/rating the award is presented. The 2006 award will be handed out around Thanksgiving so stay tuned!
