The Next Step

Just got word that the appraisal is scheduled for Thursday at 3 pm. My realtor isn't concerned as the comparables are still there for the price it is selling at.

After the appraisal comes the VA inspection. There shouldn't be a problem there as I bought it in 2000 through the VA and all the updates that have been done since.

Then we need to pray for a string of nice weather so it can be painted. We won't be able to close until after the house is painted.

According to the sales contract....they have until April 23rd to get a coimmitment from the bank. Then I guess it's just a case of waiting for the painting, VA re-inspection then closing.
