Looks like they now combine the VA inspection with the appraisal.
We now have the commitment letter from the bank.
Off to the lawyer we go.

Let's look at the this from the beginning last fall. I had Bill Lacy of Lacy Realty in Gouverneur come through and give us a comparable analysis. He had done one for us at the beginning of 2006.
His suggested sale price on October 26, 2006 was $79500
On December 4, 2006 we had another Comparative Market Analysis done and this time by Laura Hunter of Centry 21 Millenium Realty.
Mind you, Bill Lacy had done the same analysis just 39 days prior.
Her suggested sale price on December 4, 2006 was $94,900 - $99,000.
That comes to $500 per day for each day of increased sale price between the two comparisons.
Laura had 3 of the same comparables (out of 5) as Bill Lacy.
and Bill Lacy sold my house 3 or 4 times in his 30 or so years as a realtor.
