CBS Jericho

The preview for the next episode was interesting. Supplies are dropped and when they are opened the people discover the supplies they thought were dropped from their own country are from the Chinese.

Now there are several scenarios that could explain this but first you have to divide them into two groupings....Chinese/Good and Chinese/Bad

First lets look at the possible benevolence of the Chinese.

A massive relief effort? Not likely since we would likely have enough internally in the US to supply our citizens. I would think we would be seeing supplies dropped from Canadian planes before Chinese. Where we would need help in this situation is in logistics. If we were unable to do so ourselves we would need help getting communications up and running to those rural communities.

Also, if Chinese were involved in a massive aide distribution it would make more sense for them to leave the supplies at our doorstep at a deep water port rather than doing the distribution themselves.....and by airdrop??? Unlikely

Chinese Bad

Ok, so I am making an assumption that the writing on the supply boxes was Chinese. It's in our view for what 2 seconds and it's asian. Could it be N. Korean? lol Well I could see them attacking us in search of a better diet but no.... Chinese it shall be.

First though we have to think for a moment of what we know so far and assume that what we know is credible. The nuclear explosions were done by terrorists, that much we know. The Chinese could be involved in one of two ways. One they could be taking advantage of our situation (assuming they have forces in country)or they could have employed the terrorists acting as surrogates for themselves.

If you think back several episodes to the refugee...he did say "they're comming". Could he have meant Chinese? Possibly. One thing though....with the FBI agent still having access to communications wouldn't the word have gotten out through the network of an invasion?

That aside, what is it with this split season???? Lost is doing it and now Jericho??? I thought with Lost it was a great idea to drive up interest, keep viewers glued to the new show to get snippets of upcomming episodes.

But why Jericho?? I don't think the show is doing exceptionally well and the past several weeks I am not sure if it has been in the top 10.

UGH!!
