Draft Or No Draft

Our new Defense Secretary says he would consider more troops for Afghanistan. Add to that they additional 20 or so thousand more troops that is wanted for the Iraq buildup and one question definately comes to mind.

Is it time to bring back the draft?

Do we really want to rely on the Reserve and National Guard to bolster our forces? True we want to cut down on the stresses we are putting on our active forces with tour after tour after tour in Iraq and sometimes for longer than 12 months at a time but are we stretching ourself too thin militarily?
